Steelhead Season 2022!

==========

We're so excited to start our season when our first guests arrive this coming Sunday! We anticipate the water levels dropping perfectly with some scattered showers throughout the week to keep bringing those fresh steelhead home.

With a completely booked season this year, we are so thankful and hopeful everyone stays healthy and well. In order to ensure the safety of our guests and friends, we are asking everyone to send proof of a negative test 24 hours before arriving. As we have seen in the past couple of years, this precaution has allowed us to keep continuing to do what we do best!

Chef Jason Brown

Jason first joined us in 2021 for our Oregon guide season. Upon meeting him and experiencing his passion for food and local ingredients, we knew we had to figure out how to keep him around.

Jason is great at finding the highest quality ingredients while creating a 5 star experience for our guests. He has 20+ years of formal training as well as working the majority of his career in fine dining restaurants. Beyond sourcing organic ingredients, he focuses on using local artisans and craftsman to build relationships within the local community in Oregon as well as Alaska.

Jason is originally from Savannah Georgia, and has currently lived in Colorado for the past 14 years. He started fly fishing a couple of years ago in Colorado alpine streams and is excited to really explore Alaska and Oregon. His main hobby is whitewater kayaking and rafting so he naturally comes to this life on the water with us.

Jason and his girlfriend, Annie, recently introduced a new member to their family, Jelly. A little British lab pup from the same breeder as Kada and Nukka. This season expect some puppy kisses each evening from three sweet labs.

Alaska 2022 Openings

In all of our years guiding Alaska, 2022 is the one we are anticipating the most as we finally achieved our dream of owning and operating a fly out lodge in Bristol Bay! We promise our guests to offer the highest quality Alaskan vacation, both on and off the water. Newly remodeled cabins, a commercial kitchen with an incredible chef, and the most comfortable beds in all of Bristol Bay are just a few of the many changes we are bringing to our Alaska program. The Last Frontier is calling! Reach out now and let us help plan your dream Alaska trip!

We still have openings this upcoming Alaska season if you or any friends or family are interested, please send them our way!
