LODGING & ACCOMMODATIONS IN ALASKA

Imagine a place where wild nature still reigns supreme; where the waters fill with five species of ocean-bright salmon, arctic char, grayling and trophy rainbow trout in mind-blowing abundance; where brown bears, moose and caribou wander an untouched landscape; where silence rings in your ears.

Now imagine experiencing it all in luxurious comfort, with hosts that make each guest a part of their family; expert guides who understand the fisheries and watersheds on an intimate basis; mouth-watering meals; and access to dozens of fisheries with jet boats and a private, onsite float plane.

This is The Alaska of The Lodge at 58* North. The Alaska of your dreams.

The Lodge at 58 North is located on a bend in the Naknek River just outside of Katmai National Park home to millions of wild salmon, rainbow trout, brown bears and other wildlife. In 2022, all of our guests will stay at our newly purchased and renovated Lodge located just fifteen minutes up river from the King Salmon airport. The main lodge has a lounging area with a fireplace and a dining room settled high on the bluff overlooking the Naknek River. There is a full service bar and a large deck overlooking the river. Enjoy fireside cocktails, great food and spectacular views through the large picture windows offering a panoramic view. Wildlife sightings from beluga whales in the springtime to moose, brown bear, wolves, lynx, otters, fox, bald eagles, arctic hare and a multitude of migratory birds throughout the year.

The lodge has 4 modern, newly renovated comfortable cabins with private baths and sitting areas. Quizz’s Cabin has two private bedrooms and baths and a shared seating area with grand views of the river. Every morning our chefs prepare breakfast to order as well as coffee, tea, and juice. We bring lunches on our adventures prepared daily with fresh ingredients from local produce and greens from our garden as well as homemade bread baked daily and sliced fresh. We also bring waters for all our guests in reusable YETI bottles. Upon return to the lodge, guests will experience a delicious assortment of appetizers followed by a thoughtfully prepared dinner.
